Bye bye Halloween

Nov 06, 2011 20:15

October has past and with it my time at the haunted house. I'm happy to have more than two evenings to myself a week again but I miss it already. It's exhausting but fun and I did have more than a few stories to add to my scare list. "Ma'am, please let him save me!" was my favorite scare of the year, a couple separated when I scared them both ( Read more... )

Yay to the accidentally scaring people. Or scaring them on purpose. Speaking of scaring, have you seen Sean's Halloween costume this year? Creeepy.

The problem with flu shots is that there's so many strains of it. You're protected against a few, but not all of them.

Also, where's your obligatory-twice-a-year "I want my hour back!" post?

I got my hour back. I wasn't able to welcome it back to the time stream since I was in the middle of a Nyquil induced coma. Also, I live in Ohio now and they've been DSTing for longer than I've been alive. I'm still not thrilled by the concept so I don't bitch as loudly or often (in person).

I'm not sure she got a whole message out before she bolted but she did have the phone in hand. She might have been tweeting about being abandoned by her man to try and shame him into saving her.

I also managed to make a pink plastic tiara frightening to another group. I think one of them may have been crying by the end but I did get her to tell me I was a pretty pretty princess.

I probably featured in a few nightmares over the last month or so, which I find hilarious, which probably makes me a horrible person.

AND I made it through the whole season without getting groped! The new costume must not have struck people as touchy-feely this year. Either that or I got better at avoiding the drunks.

I am glad that your leg is feeling better.

Also!

"Gasping for breath from running and hiding behind a dumpster all while yelling at her boy to come save her, she whips out her cell phone and declares she is tweeting about this right now."

LMAO!

I also managed to "share" four jolly ranchers in the last weekend. Just to crank up the creepy levels I would pull have eaten candy from my mouth and offer it to people. "Want some candy? It tastes like cherry and the inside of my mouth." Four people ate my ABC candy, and they weren't drunk as far as I could tell.

I got a little slap happy with a pink plastic tiara and started taking pictures of people with it on a slow night once. My favorite is the head of security with photo bombs by the owner and Shovel Dude (who happened to be wearing a kool-aid man hat). That's 1 am for you.
