He hated being in Grimmauld Place. The house has always creeped him out, what what portraits of relatives he never liked, heads of house elves he knew were making faces at him, and statues that always seemed to be out to get him.
Then again, maybe he was just paranoid.
At night, when Harry was at school and the Order members were away or sleeping, he would seek solace in the library by the fireplace, reading the night away with the books he hadn't read yet, seeking answers to questions he never knew he had.
He would often find himself watching the shadows from the light of the fire dancing on the page, wondering when he became the bookworm and Moony became the adventurer.
