Multi-fandom Drabble Tree.
Okay, so I've been reading a lot of drabbles lately and have recently gotten hooked to drabble trees.
Don't know what a drabble tree is? Basically, in a drabble tree, one person will start the tree with a drabble (that's me), and people will reply to that drabble with their own, and people will reply to those drabbles with their own, &etc, creating "branches".
Except, you have to use a sentence/phrase/word from the drabble you're branching from, but not necessarily "sequels." your drabble can be a completely different fandom/pairing/etc.

So for this, I wrote a gen drabble. You guys can pick your favourite fandom, or write in original if you want, and reply with your own drabble. ( Don't know what a drabble is?)

He wanted to meet in the lobby, but she insisted on meeting him outside her hallway. He thought she was taking the idea of a secret relationship too far if he couldn't even be seen in public with her, but he had agreed to do things her way this time.
He knocked on her door twice, before she opened the door with a smile. "Hi," she said sweetly, taking his hand and pulling him in.
"Let's go out tonight," he said, pulling her into his arms. "I want to spend my money on you," he teased.
"Not tonight," she said, shaking her head.
Please: bold the sentence/phrase/word you used from the prior drabble!
