I just fell in love with Osaka Obachan Rock. I mean, I thought it was *okay* at first, but I was kinda disappointed, well they always give them dork-songs and make sure people continue to think of them as the JE dork-band, but Osaka Obachan is kinda... extremely dorky ( Read more... )

Haven't heard osaka obachan rock yet but there is so much K8 love lately i really feel like getting it XD but i'll have to wait till after my exams at least >< mom would flip if i wanna buy cds now :P

I jusu heard a little bit of the song in the mezanashi show some days ago, when they showed Kanjani8 live, and I thought it lokked like a really funny song !!
(and that's also the day I discovered the new subaru's gorgeous hairstyle *__*)
And I completely agree with you, finally Shounen Club is really interesting and funny, I loved the one produced by Yu and I'm impatient to watch the last one tonight ^___^

Haha, Subaru's new hair is... interesting. I think it looks cool on him, but it took a little while for me to get used to it. Yeah, Osaka Obechan Rock is so much fun. I can imagine it's especially fun to watch them perform it on stage :)

would it be cheaper me buying it there or asking my friend to get it off of yesasia?
i know i'm horrible i'm comparing prices, but ahha my parents in general don't support me spending money over boys all the time.

It's always cheaper to get it directly in Japan. So maybe you should rather do that. I hate Internet shopping, but I like this song so I want to support K8, that's why I'm buying it online even though waiting until summer would be waaaaaaay cheaper. :(

yes yes! on June 16 i leave CA for Tokyo and then gonna live with my relatives in Chiba for a few days then going to Osaka on a tour (ew tours, but i'm surei 'll have fun anyhow) then after that i'm going to go to Taiwan again :D (yes internet cafes!)

Oh wow, sounds cool. It's your first time to Japan if I remeber correctly, right?! Too bad I don't go to Japan before August. We could have met.

My birthday was on March 7th. My LJ birthday passed at the end of April. ^^

obachan rock really is a fun song. I was a bit afraid too, since I don't want K8 to become a joke... sure, they are funny and dorks, but they're not a joke! but as long as they will release more serious songs in the future, I'm sure they're okay.

I have a crush on Goro too right now. and I can't get it into my mind who is Takeda now... but I love Busukoi!

did you already hear that K8 will be in SC in june too? ^_^

I wouldn't be too sure about K8 releasing serious soungs in the future. They are JE's "fun" band and as long as they'll keep up their "Osaka pride"-image and release songs with Osaka in the title, they'll probably continue releasing dork songs. *sighs*

LOL, I never even really like Goro, but he's really handsome! ^^; Takeda is the 'older' co-worker, who had a little crush on Miyuki's friend (Megumi, the smaller one) after the Gokon.

Really??? KYAAA, that's so cool. I didn't even bother to watch the latest KAT-TUN episodes, but those with K8 are so much fun! ^_^

oh god, I hope they won't continue making only dorky songs to them! that's going to be old soon. I wonder when Osaka in their titles will become old too... imagine like a 20th single with Osaka in the title, won't people start to hate Osaka at some point!? XD

ahhh yeah, I know who Takeda is now! I thought he is attractive too, but I gotta keep out from the too old guys XD Goro and 15 years between us is enough for me...

I didn't watch the KAT-TUN eps either, just the K8 VTR which was really cute!

I think they want K8 to do the Osaka pride thing because Osaka people are said to be very proud when it comes to their city. I think it's a good thing and as long as it's still working they'll continue doing it, but yeah, we'll see. I wish they'd release a nice ballad or something Mugendai like one day.

Actually Takeda is born in 1972, so he is at the same age as the SMAP guys ;) Haha, I thought he was older too ^^;;;

LOL Obachan Rock is only so-so cute for me, nothing can replace the awesome dorkiness that is Sukiyanen. But I still preordered both copies from HMV, so me = dedicated. Zettai ni, watashi wa Kanjani8 ga daisuki desu! LOL making use of my now limited, but grammatically-correct Japanese ( ... )

Maybe it's a song you need to listen to for a while to really get to like it. I realized there are some really cool musical elements and Suba's voice goes very well with the song plus it *is* pretty catchy, that's why I think it's a really cool song. But yeah, Sukiyanen with the dance and all is just classical ( ... )
