Well, I'd comment on the pictures if I could, but China's being communist again. XO

Anyway~ From my experience, Japanese (or at least Asian o_O;) brands tend to work better than most American brands (i.e. Copic or Prismacolor) because they actually blend; plus, they usually have a wider range of colors so that your drawings don't end up looking so harsh or Crayola-marker-ish.

copics = win. I haven't used neopikos. I dislike prismas (and, no, that's not just import snobbery.)
Copics have really good choices for skin tones and their brush tips are really nice, although I think the chisel tip is kind of useless. I don't think prisma has as good color choices and (I think they changed the small tip at least, but) the small tip is too small and the big one is too big.
As for actually using them, I'm no expert, I tend to do really "clean" (read: simple) coloring; but my friend momo is really good with coloring, and my other friend rei is very anal about her art supplies so she can tell you more about the pros and cons of different brands.
