& now i hear the swelling in the deeps,
the surge to the surface after years underwater,
underground, under other presumptions than
"i dream of hope burning eternal."
i have forgotten why i started watching
and don't expect i should remember
but now it's like the golden glow of dying embers
or a shooting star colliding with the moon:
a spectacular show that will all be over soon.
