i blame it all on an inability to say no. yeah i'll come over, yeah i'll take care of it and do you know what happens? i don't. you know, scratch that. i blame it on me

As long as there is angst in the world, Live Journal will have a purpose.

So, in response to you comments:

1. I do the same fucking thing. The only way to get over it is to practice saying no.
2. Except for career specific college degrees (education, engineering, whatever), there is one purpose to a college degree. It tells the world and prospective employers that "I can be taught." Seriously, that's it. I have a good paying job in a field no where near my college degree simply because I demonstrated that I could be taught. Without it, you have the lengthier process of getting work experience to prove you can be taught.
3. I've had that happen too. It blows. Hopefully a minor contact from a virtual stranger will help perk you up.
4 and 5. I'm not qualified to respond.
