I just got my comp back working so I have not been on for like the past month....and I have been reading some of the comments you people make on applications and its pathetic....This is a community on the love of music...not YOUR love of music. You cant reject people for not liking the same music you do. You cant just say no to them because they

You seem really mad and I don't really understand why.

I never judge just on my music tastes or my opinions, I like to accept people who listen to a wide range of music and who actually have opinions and explain why they have those opinions. I accept people who spent a lot of time on their application, who seem like interesting people and who really seem to care about music.

Anyway, I just don't understand. This was my favorite community, too... I hope you'll reconsider shutting it down.

i can see where you're coming from. i'm really disappointed though, this was my favorite community. i learned about a lot of really great bands from here. i hope you make a new one, one that fobids elitists. i got really disgusted with some of the commenters also. i guess i always saw the applications as sort of a way to inspire musical discussion, not a popularity contest like they ended up being. do it again, just....leave off the rating community thing. if you make it clear it's about the love of music, not the love of elitism, i think it'll happen. lemme know eh?
