I didn't feel like posting all of the pictures I took on here [there's 263 of them] so I just chose a few. And I left out stuff on the way up there/the super-fancy Hyatt/ campground and such, but there's still plenty.
Okay, so we got to Disneyland about 7am so we could pick up our tickets. But the lazy people at guest services didn't show up until after 8. So we had to hang out for awhile. I got very bored.
THE O.C.!!! David- that was just for you. Haha.
When we finally got in, the place was packed. I mean, there were more people there than a third-world country. Spring break crowds. Uck.
Kimber had to make sure the "rabid goats" didn't attack Hunter.
Hunter, my dad, Bruce, me, and Kimber at "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience". Kimber says we're "hardcore". :D
Alright. Below are pictures from Club 33. In case you haven't heard, it's the secret dining club inside Disneyland. It's also the only place within the park that serves alcohol, which my mother so very much likes to point out to everyone she meets. The food is outrageously expensive [our bill was around $516] but completely worth the money and the 4 months in advance you have to book the reservation.
This is all you see from the outside.
One of the few French Lifts still in operation. Shouldn't be though. Scariest elevator of all time. They close the inside door, then the outside door, and then the outermost glass door. You go up and then all of a sudden, it just stops. And then you stall about 489762398567692 more times before you reach the top. I swear, it's worse than the Tower of Terror.
I look like an elephant in this picture.
The dining hall.
And gawd, the FOOD. Absolutely amazing. This was the buffet of all buffets.
My main course. Cheese tortelleni, three by three. Yummm.
Myself and Hunter, arguing. Yay.
Kimber and Bruce. Kimber must have had one too many pina coladas. Lmao.
The happy bunch. Aww...
The last of my third smoothie. I was so wired.
And then it rained.
No, it effing poured.
I was stuck for the rest of the day in one of those awful blue ponchos because I didn't have anything else. The rain came completely out of the blue, but it showered so hard that my Converse are STILL wet. And I went to Disneyland on Tuesday.
So the next day we decided to go to the beach.
My dad was a bum and didn't even get his feet wet.
Bruce and Kimber stayed out too. We were going out that night.
So I swore to Hunter I wasn't going to go in either...
... but I couldn't resist.
I am the Seaweed Queen.
After that, it was time to head home. But we stopped at Stewart Mine in Pala to go mining. We were so excited. We were going to get richhh.
We thought it was going to be this giant mine, where we'd have to use lights to shovel and such.
But all we got was a pile of dirt to dig through.
It was okay though. I still had a ton of fun. Even all I found was this really tiny gemstone.
And if you haven't noticed, I dyed/cut my hair. Myself, too. :D
This concludes my picture update. I hope you're all having wonderful vacations. I miss you guys. Have a very Happy Easter. I love you.
All the leaves are brown and the sky is gray
