I can tell exactly where you are in all of the pictures (cemetary behind the old R. E. Lee Institute, Weaver Park, covered bridge not two miles from my ranch, dam on nine mile creek just off of Jeff Davis) except the railroad ones. I am not familiar with that stretch of track... I know that sounds pretty weird to say, but I used to run those tracks (for PT) like crazy all the time. It was the only place that was relatively flat, very long, and isolated. And I used to run them like crazy. With the MSGT. It was great. Guessing by the plants, layout of the track, and what little I can see of the soil, I would guess that you are just west of Thomaston, though... Let me know one weekend when you'll be down. I will take off from ranch work (from which I had a strange reprieve today!) and join the civilized world. It would be nice to meet you.
