got sent home from work for being out of uniform. i think i'm gonna quit, and take on one [or two, or three] of the 2,000 other jobs i applied for.

where do you work?

i ask b/c i worked an americorps job called city year where you're supposed to mentor/tutor/help teens/middle school/children and if you were out of uniform they sent you home even if it was an hour commute to get there b/c apparently having white socks on is more important than helping others and doing your job.

non profits are awesome sometimes.
