I just saw X-Men 3.
OMGGGGGGGG
how could they kill off Scott right at the beginning? He was one of my all time favourites next to Wolverine of course. But he didn't even bring anything new to the story, so I didn't even find him worth trying to find some way of enjoying it. Okay no that's a lie, when he climbed the tree and then pounced on his victims, I orgasmed. Okay he was sexy as hell as always. But jesus, after all that I couldn't even really find much of a reason to like the movie.
EVERYONE IS DEAD. OR LOST THEIR POWERS. WHAT THE HELL?!?! Am I the only one extremely bothered by this? It made the movie seem pretty depressing and pointless in the end. Like... all my favourite characters are dead now, basically the only ones left alive are the ones with no personality whatsoever (except Wolverine, again). And Rogue is now a homo sapien?? Why is she back in mutant school?!? She can't be enrolled in a mutant school as a human just so she can have sex with her boyfriend.
And Bobbie by the way is lame and his face is too much of a typical 'pretty boy' and I just want to smash it.
The scene where Wolverine catches Rogue leaving the school and she says she wishes she could kiss and hug, I was almost screaming "KISS HER, KISS HER GOD DAMNIT!" I'll forever be a Wolverine/Rogue shipper.
Angel was adorable but I wish they did more with his character. Maybe gave him more than two lines?
Beast was so friggen sweet. Possibly the only part of the movie that I can label as being "friggen sweet".
I was so stoked about this movie and ended up so sad and disappointed. It was bigger scale than the first two, but it was just a weak plot and cheesy one-liners hidden beneath huge effects. Sigh.
