Rei's eyes flickered to Tala, then Kai, questioning. Kai just shrugged. He had had to bring Tala along.

Rei frowned and Tala refused to look at him, pissed to have been forced to come.

"I'll...go make tea..." Rei said after a few uncomfortable moments, trying to remember why he had ask Kai to come in the first place.
