Question

In the userinfo of this community it says that the applicant must wait 2-4 days to let the members vote on their application and then the mod will post an accepted/rejected banner. I have waited a whole lot longer than 2-4 days and still no banner. Am I now member or not?

Same problem with me. I have waited OVER A MONTH! I am not impressed. Everyone was active when that guy posted his "fake" application, but after that, everyone forgot about the three real applcants that are "for real" and want to be a part of this community.

Ditto my other response :)

I know you from other communities, no one voted against you, at least one co-mod voted for you. The only reason why I didn't "apply" to be co-mod is that college keeps me too busy to be active, yet I did notice this threat. I'd say if you're still interested to post away, and I sincerely doubt that anyone will care because apparently, everyone who voted wanted you here anyway. (And maybe I should exercise the seniority of being one of the oldest members both in terms of age and how long they've been around).

I would say so...
I'm not a mod or a co-mod (and b/c of college, am hardly active, but for some reason noticed this post today) but you received unanimous 'yes' votes, and at least one co-mod voted yes.
So I personally say welcome, and definitely post, and if someone has a problem with this (they shouldn't), I'll take the shit for it. :)

I wasn't trying to threaten anyone!!! I just have been checking everyday to see if I've been accepted, and can post and be an active member of the community, so it killed me to see everyone responding to that guy's application, and not to mine! I hope you don't think my response is catty or whiny, because that's not at all how I hope to come across! I was just a little irritated and a tad impatient. I hope no one is offended at my comment, I am just a little frustrated. I really think I could be an asset to this community, and since I'm on LJ every day, I would love to partake in themes and help get this community very active again.

It's obvious that the mods aren't active so just go ahead and post if you think you are accepted (if the majority of the votes are yes, that means you are).
