The night before, all hell was on the verge of breaking loose. Big scary demon, blockage of the sun .. everything was going wrong. Then I got with the big vision-y and poof! Everything was good again! I mean, we found the sword and all. We .. well Angel and Connor .. they chopped off the Beast's head. Oh and hey, eternal darkness went to an end. We ( Read more... )

I had woke earlier than Cordelia giving me the chance to reflect on the stupidity of things that have a soul. Number one on my list the idiocy of sunlight. And the bastard knew. He damn well knew that playing Freddy Kruger on old Beastie Boy would bring back the Coppertone days ( ... )

I wasn't exactly sure what to make of his mine being free comment. But I took it as a sign of the good. So I let out a relieved smile and realized that I was sorta holding my breath for a few minutes.

"So sun's back, which is a major plus. And you're not of the evil variety. Which is another check in the good guys category." I leaned back against him and closed my eyes for a few minutes.

"I wonder if everyone else's night was as good as ours." I said, eyes still closed and more or less just thinking aloud.

So if Angel and I were able to do this now, would we be able to do it again? Such as .. later? Tonight? Or maybe it was just a favor of the Powers That Be. One of those, you did us a favor so we're going to do you one now.

Maybe we should do that more often.

My body instantly covered hers as I nipped at her neck. It would be so easy. She'd never even get out a scream but that's not the plan. Plan is to act like a pansy ass and turn them to my way of thinking. It'll be slow but best laid plans and all that.

"How about we just do an instant repeat and then do it again."

Muzzling her neck more, inhaling the scent of our combined bodies was driving me insane. I'm hungry and a bag of pig blood just isn't going to get it. Wonder who they would miss least?

I grinned up at him at his instant repeat comment. I wrapped my hands around his neck and shrugged. "Hey, we did it once. And apparently, you're still souled. Maybe the PTB are giving us a get out of jail free card, hm?" I asked, perking a brow.

It occurred to me that it was well into the morning and that the rest of the gang was probably downstairs. Doing what we do best in the mornings .. grumble about the bad coffee.

So it's not like we were going to miss much. Oh, and the bedroom? A lot cozier then the lobby. If they needed us, they knew where to find us.
