Number Three!

Well, sorry for my lack of prompt response. My kids fell ill last night, so I decided to stay home to take care of them. Of course that doesn't mean I'm going to spend my time on the computer chatting with you lovely bunch. Family first, always ( Read more... )

if i were to have somehow died, and gone to a hell which i were to believe in, it would consist of your ignorant drivel being read over loudspeakers, with the devil as pat robertson sodomizing saddam hussein. oh yeah, youre a bible thumping asswipe. just thought i should let you know how your evangelical sheep friends are gonna ruin our nation. this is just your reminder, didnt think you needed one but you know us liberals, we love to hear ourselves! thanks!

I'm a little bit confused. I don't recall ever quoting the bible (seeing as.. I'm not religious in the least).
Please feel free to tell me how what I write is ignorant. I'd love for you to back up your statements.

I just wanted to commend you for supporting equal rights for all individuals. I try to maintain an open mind about those who are self-described Republicans as I hope you will maintain an open mind about me as a self-described liberal. (I don't always fall in line with Democrats so I hate describing myself as one.)

In any case, aside from the drivel that was first responded to your comments, I just wanted to say that at any time, if you would like to have an intelligible conversation about topics of your choice, I am willing to participate and welcome all ideals, as long as they are coherent and nonthreatening (even over LJ).

I always try to keep an open mind, no matter who I'm dealing with. Sadly, it doesn't always work.
I will your offer in mind for a time when I'm less bombarded. Thank you very kindly.

Wow, I like how you don't have to resort to simple name-calling. I like how you look at things from different points of view, and how you don't fit the stereotype.

Though I do have a question: What policy of the Republicans do you like the best?

BTW: I added you back.

I'm extremely opposed to affirmative action. Were I not against picketing and silly protests, I'd go join one right now. The very idea boils my blood.

I'm also a serious Pro-Life advocate, though I can be swayed in certain circumstances.

I have a few questions for you about your view of being Pro-life.

I know this is useless but is there any way that you can take me off your list? I respect your veiws and opinons, but my brother was injured in Iraq, and I feel very strongly about removing Bush from office. I realize that it is your right to feel how you would like to, and I am all for everyone having their own opinons, however if there is any way that you could just remove me? My family and I have suffered more than youll ever be able to know over Mr. Bushs war, and I cannot and will not condone anything that keeps him in office.
I know you probably will not, and thats cool as I dont have to add you back, but I just thought that we could be adults here and maybe you can see where I am coming from. Thanks.

I see where you're coming from. However, I'm not taking you off. This doesn't make me less of an adult.
I do feel sorry for what happened to your brother, but at the same time, he made a choice to do what he did. My brother was also injured in Iraq, and I feel perfectly fine with keeping Bush in office.
Have a great day.

I really take offense to you implying that somehow my brother CHOSE this war. If thats what you think, then I feel like you need to re examine.
