The only consistency is change

Why can't things just remain the same? From small things do losing files from reformatting to seeing(or not seeing) friends. Change is usually good, but I've always been scared of things not staying solid, and it's starting to get on my mind a lot more now. I mean, I wish I could just have everything the same forever, so it could never get better
