all the outside input from family & friends &lack of input from your partner can drag you down.

I see this happening to so many people that all I would really love to do is just dash off somewhere overseas, and get married without all the hassle... My mum would kill me, but she'll live :P

i have always said that rather than plan a wedding, i'd just elope and have a nice celebratory barbecue later, or something.

best wedding i ever went to was a friend's... they got married at the registry with a couple of witnesses, then rented out a room in a newtown pub for the night. it seems cheap maybe, but since when is marriage meant to be about stress and blowing all the money you have??
