Who is your idol/Who do you look up to and why:
My high school chemistry teacher, Dr. Green. As my mentor, she influenced me to become the confident young woman I am now.
Name Your Most Embarrassing Moment:
I was a sophomore in high school, and I was supposed to sing a solo for the winter choral concert. I got up there, and halfway through the first verse, no sound came out. That was the MOST EMBARRASSING night of my life. Thankfully, I redeemed myself the next semester and nailed a Gershwin piece.
The Entertainment:
If you had to pack up all your stuff and move to a new place right now where would it be:
I would move back to Hong Kong. I was born and raised in San Francisco, but most of my family and cultural ties are back there. I am in love the urban metropolis lifestyle, and it doesn't get any more urban or metropolitan than Hong Kong.
Why are you good for the community:
I am constantly mistaken for a 15-year-old when in fact I'm actually in my third year of college!!! Aside from that, I want to be your friend, no matter how similar or different we may be. I want to crack corny one-liners over rice krispy treats and hot cocoa. Giggling like there's no tomorrow = the best.
Sum yourself up in 5 words no more no less:
Spunky, eclectic, chattery, creative, unconventional
Whats your favorite time period and why:
I most enjoy and identify with the early to mid-60s. Some of my favourite music comes from the British Invasion era (ie, The Beatles, The Zombies, Dave Clark Five, etc.), and I am constantly awestruck by the amount of great urban art and subculture that arose from that time. My favourite colour is orange, and orange was used in a very big way in the earlier half of the sixties.
Pictures!
And then I cut my hair on Saturday.
Later that day, I bleached it. I'm not back home yet, but when I do, my mum'll help my dye the bleached portion pink. I trust no one else with colouring my hair.
(those are my dowdy gray jammie sweats...)
