Application--
1. What are we to call you?
Katie... or something that remotely resembles katie... kate, kt.. whatever as long as I know you're talking about me.

2. Just for reference, what's your age, or even better, your birthdate?
15 years old, and my birthday is august 2nd, 1989

3. To what sex do you belong and what are your sexual preferences?
I'm a female. and I'm straight.

4. How many toes do you have?
I have a total of 10 toes. But my foot looks like I could fit another baby toe... you know feet are REALLY weird things to look at.

5. How should a good song make you feel?
personally make me feel sad( I know in the next question I say I don't like that in movies... but it's different for me..). Or angry. But they dont HAVE to make me feel one of those... A good song should be able to prevoke a reation. And a strong emotion, also a good song should make me feel connected to the singer...

6. What is the best type of movie?
I love comedy. There is enough drama and crap in life as it is, and on the news, or where ever I don't want to spend 8 dollars on a movie that will make me sad, or scared, when I can get that from life itself or music.

7. Who is Faramir (if you don't know, say so)?
I have no fucking clue. But now I'm interested... so perhaps I'll go find out after I finish this. Or someone who knows could maybe tell me? or not... up to you.

8. Who are you voting (or would vote if you are underage) for in this election?
To be perfectly honest I'm on board with the Anybody But Bush idea. So probably Kerry/Edwards, politically kerry isn't very strong, but he's a calmer than Dean was. I want a president who wont fuck up... I'd rather have a president who doesn't do anything signifigant then a president who gets us into oil wars... honestly I dont know all the polices of Kerry's but at this point I'd rather have anyone but Bush. I'm underage so what I think really doesn't matter.

9. What is your favorite country? Why?
England, definitely. I love England because of all the history there. I've been many times, and I'm a dual national. The country itself is beautiful, the buildings, and the castles are just so mind boggling. In the US we dont have things like old castles, and obviously the roman baths, because our country is still so new... so we lack that history, that England has. Plus they produce amazing bands.. or they did... you've got your Beatles, the Clash, the Sex Pistols... oh and who didn't like the spice girls?

10. Exactly nine words of your choice.
life, innocence, grow, conflict, depression, love, nirvana, change, death

11. What body part would you not mind giving up?
Oh well... I could live without an ear, I could tell everyone I was going through that tortured artist look, and because adults think that we're always going through "phases" no one would care. I wouldn't mind giving up a lung too for someone who really needed it, being honest this time and not silly.

**Note about the next three questions**
I know these are found in every app, but even if we disagree with your opinions, we'll give you credit for an explanation that let's us understand why you feel that way.
12. How do you feel about abortion?
I am completely pro-choice. I mean how could you tell a rape victim, that's eleven years-old, that she has to have a baby? that's completely horrible and inhuman. In other cases, this button I have sort of explains a little why I'm prochoice: "If you can't trust us with a choice, how can you trust us with a child?". I don't think abortion should be used as birthcontrol, to use whenever you please, but if the child will not be able to grow up in a semi-decent home then they shouldn't have to be fucked around with. By fucked around I mean put into foster homes, or being abused or not being able to be supported. I think that it should be completely up to the woman with the baby and no one else. That child is in THEIR body, if they can't make the choice themselves no one should make it for them.

13. Gay marriage?
Again I am for gay marriage. A marriage should be a union of two people who love eachother. It's obvious a man and a man, or a woman and a woman can love eachother the same way a man and a woman can love eachother. We are discriminating against them because of their sexuality.GAY PRIDE. I think a lot of people are just afraid of something new, they're homophopic which is terrible.

14. Religion?
As you can see I'm pretty much set in some political views, but religion is one subject that I'm really not involved in. My mom is jewish and my dad is catholic so I've had the chance to see both of the belief systems and how each works. To be perfectly honest I don't really care about religion much. I think it's important in society, for some people, but I'm really not one of them. I think why it's so powerful is it gives people something to believe in. Something to give them hope. If you look at the Middle ages, you can see this clearly, it's sort of how people came out of the dark ages... from my understanding anyways.

15. Five favorite bands or singers:
a. Bright Eyes/ Conor Oberst
b. Velvet Underground
c.The Violent Femmes

e.Jimi Hendrix

16. Six favorite movies:
a. Robin Hood Men in Tights

18. What was the last thing you got in the mail?

19. Finish this sentence:

Llama licking a horse!( I mean who the hell sees llamas on the street? it's definitely a "holy fuck" momment I'd say)

22. Just to throw you off, that wasn't the last question, this is. Look on the internet or rack your memory for a total random fact that you think nobody will know but is still interesting/cool.

Okay... I've got a few...
1.The longest word in the english language is:
pneumonoultramicroscopicsliconvolcanocoliosis. it's a lung cancer... and i just spelled that from memory.. so it's probably not right. but we learned it in 6th grade and had to say it and spell it for the class.
2. The cashew is part of a fruit that grows in tropical regions called 'a cashew apple'. After harvesting, the cashew apple keeps for only 24 hours before the soft fruit deteriorates. The apple and nut are separated.
and lastly...
3.Sumerians (from 5000 BC) thought that the liver made blood and the heart was the center of thought.

23. Don't worry...this isn't a question. A pic is nice, but completely optional. It won't affect any decisions.

Thank you very much for your time
