I love Inverness and Nairn... do you ever go into Drumnadrochit? I love that little town. Diner at the Fiddler's etc. etc. :-)

Actually, I have a Drumnadrochit-esque photo post on the way! I was there last week :). It really is lovely.
One of my good friends is a waitress at Fiddlers!

What a small world!

I've been in Scotland several times now (I'm from the Netherlands) and just fell in love with the area you live in. Drumnadrochit is a special place for me. So you also know Dick Beach (don't know how to spell it), the owner of Fiddler's? He's such a nice man!
I do hope to get back there one day. Maybe we can even share a cup of coffee at the Fiddlers one day :-)

the place that you live in looks absolutely quaint and so cool! i love it. i feel the same way about living near the coastline. i don't live so close to the beach--or any shore--so that i can see it outside of my window, but i'm a 10 minute or so drive away from the beach, and that's what i need. i understand the claustrophobia that comes from being in a landlocked area!

love the jumping pictures and i find the idea of being tried in a castle to be very, very cool. we have modern buildings with no history in them--unless you're into knowing every single criminal who has been tried there--that are not half as cool looking as the castle you have!
