i actually just handed in my erasmus form for next year today. i chose france over russia which means my interest in spending hours on russian homework is dwindling quite quick. verbs of motion, please just go away. my friend went to copenhagen and said it was amazingggg. i put down paris as my first choice. it's slightly terrifying. i can't speak french??

Ughhhhh, those verrrrrbs. Dying.
Yeahh, I'm kinda nervous about the whole language situation; sure, my course may be in english but I've still got to live, aaarghhh.
I'm sure you'll be fine! Surely better French than Russian? :D x

Boy: Who knows. We chat; we don't chat; he does things suggesting he's still interested; he does things which hint otherwise. In some ways it'd be better if I just killed it completely, judging by some comments I've had of late. None of my friends can quite understand what it is that's keeping me attached to him - as far as they're concerned he's been nothing but a git to me. It would make it a damn sight easier if this were the case. It's not. There were several times I spent with him I've never articulated to anyone, and it's these that really made me want to keep him in my life in *that* way. And no, I don't just mean that in a physical sense. Just in general ( ... )

It's a nasty situation really. Well, nasty may be the wrong word. Uncomfortable would probably be better. Who knows how it'll pan out. I know, that's totally the advice I'd give to any of my friends in this position! Saaakes. Life's tricky.

Haha, I always make sure the traffic's stopped first- I do NOT trust Edinburgh taxi drivers!

Aaaw, I totally agree about the teddy bears! It's so comforting and familiar :)

Getting new emails in my inbox makes me so happy. It's sad, really.

Ohhhh female voice choir! when do you have rehearsal again? Is everyone intimidatingly good? I've been thinking about joining some sort of choir (although I probably shouldn't take up anything else but oh well),
Yay for Glee :D
My tandem partner went to FU Berlin, she really enjoyed it (she does German and Politics).

Rehearsal's on Tuesdays at 7 in Alison House. It's a lot of fun! And nahhh, it's not a seriously serious choir, and there's a lot of people who have never been in a choir before, and there've been a lot more joining this semester. You should give it a try! :)

I'm so tempted for Berlin! My German isn't exactly great, got to be said, but it'd be suchh a great experience. It's definitely going down as a choice, just can't decide the order of choices! It's like going to uni all over again! :D x
