it has been a while since i've been in this place that i'm in.
the place where hearts beat harder than regularly (drug-free hearts).
the place where in dark scary woods, you feel safe because of a voice on the end of a fading phone.
a place where
where time has run up and i am throwing things in bags because i have things to do and i have to be there in four hours.
fuck i'll be late for my date with destiny.
and i just shrug my shoulders one more time.
things will be different when come home.
when i come home i have to tell my mom what i'm doing with my life.
elvis has grace in memphis.
maybe memphis will be so kind to me.
it's almost time for one of those epic end-of-the-year entries.

tonite is watching law and order
and having war battles online
and finding trouble with sara
and trying not to move so i don't disrupt the peace in my house.
there's only peace because they're all asleep.
