Hours - or maybe it was days - later my head was still pounding like someone was beating me with a hammer. It hurt and I was slightly thankful for the darkness because light would just make it that much worse

Follow the light. It's terribly cliché, I know, but it is what we did. We followed the light of the spell I had managed to conjure up. Such a simple spell really, but very effective. We followed it, ran across campus, and ran across town. And I was once again reminded that I ought to keep in better shape. Either that or get a bicycle or some such

To be quite honest, it went far to easy. The man wasn’t even really paying attention, nor did it take great force to knock him out. I’m not a Slayer, but I do train with one. I have *some* force, but I hardly used it at all. Raising my eyebrows, I watched the chap sink to the floor rather ungracefully. That went far to easy indeed

My fingers were raw and numb by now, all I could smell was dirt and my own blood as I made the hole deeper. "Can't stop..." I murmured, nearly desperate to give up. Couldn't give up, had to get out. I didn't come this far to die like this; not like an animal in some room where nobody would remember me
