i think if you get your permit now, you can just take the test when your 18, but this way you'll be able to practice legally

oh yeah, i just looked. it is tight because if i get my permit now, i can just practice. and right when i turn 18 i can get it. oh that is tight.

I think if you're over 17 and a half you can do the same thing as an 18 year old.
