zombie- a human being whose motor functions are maintained after life process/es cease. its a pretty broad definition, and i was surprised to find it didnt just say "living dead people, dummy". and since a life process could be anything from breathing to sentient coherent aware thought, a zombie could indeed just be some posessed dude walking out of the woods. but i think zombies are better when they are decaying corpses whose only drive to move is to feast on living flesh and/or cerebrums. mmm, brains
