1000 islands trip...
Alright, im home from my trip. It was pretty short, but maybe thats for the better. Not much else to say, so here it is...
Friday, August 13th - 9:43 am
Uh-oh, Friday the 13th? Hahaha, yeah i just saw a road sign for Mexico. Guess i didn't know there was a Mexico in New York. Well, I just woke up from a well-needed nap. We had to leave this morning at 7 which wasn't very easy after staying up until 2 last night - Oooh, last night - Ok, so - Went to ABC to visit Laurie at work, say hey or whatever and I was completely amazed by that place. There's no way to tell from the street that that place is so nice inside. I'd never been there before last night so I was going to try some food or coffee or something but Laurie convinced me out of it, plus their prices were pretty outrageous. After I left there I went to my grandparents' hosue and organized another little poker night for 8:30. Last night was the first time since I told myself that I quit that i actually had to deny an offer. Yeah those of you that know me know what I'm talking about. Alright, so pat, his cousin, half the asian invasion (zach), Scart Cart, Billy Bob, my grandpa and I played poker till about 11 and I actually won. Came home, talked online for about 5 mim then talked on the phone till about 2 which was fun even though I ended up with about 5 hrs of sleep. K, well im on my way to the islands so idk, ill update...

Surprisingly I have survived a day from home alone with my grandpa and max. Even more surprising is the fact that Max is still alive. We ended up doing a bunch of fishing today - a sport/activity which absolutely confuses the shit out of me, honestly. Put a worm on this little hook, throw it in the water and sometimes wait a good 20 minutes to a half hour before anything even bites it. Then, if your lucky enough - yes I said lucky because I'm pretty sure its like 99% luck - and you catch a fish, most of the time you end up throwing the dumb thing back in the water. Anyways, then we checked into this little motel and I have to say im totally not into the whole "motel" idea. I just hate them. Idk what it is, maybe im jus picky or w/e but every single motel ive stayed at has been really gross. Never really had any problems with hotels but damn those motels. The one we're at smells really bad and has no hot water... plus its really small. We've got two beds, so im sleeping on the floor tonight because i dont feel like sleeping with my grandpa or my brother. Ok - so... after we check in or whatever we fished some more, then ate and got ice cream. Came back here to clean up and stuff and then went to Watertown to see a movie. We ended up seeing the Village and if you havent seen it yet, that movie is so fucked up. I don't wanna give anything away but it is just soooo fucked up. After the movie we went to Bob Evans for a 10:00 dinner. I started out with a cheeseburger and fries, but then since my... wonderful brother ordered a ham and cheese omlette even though he knew he didnt feel well, I ended up eating that too just because I wasn't gonna watch the food/the eight bucks get wasted. Sort of feeling the effects of that now... little full - okay extremely full....
Well tomorrow I guess we'll fish some more and then come home. Monday night ill be gettin my chem study on, and then take the test tuesday afternoon. Dont have to go back to work until tuesday so thats definitely a plus. Alright tired now soooo -

Almost home now... ended up fishing a lot today. After the whole weekend my brother ended up with zero fish, my grandpa with 5, and I caught 30. i didnt read anywhere close to as much as I wanted to - up to page 140 out of 480. haha, i dont see august as being a very good month for me between all my AP english readings, my chem test on tuesday, which I CANT fail again or im screwed, and Arby's. Alright well i should be home in just a few minutes...
