Okay, so at some point during English on Monday I must have been knocked unconscious, and somehow Mrs. Seman must not have noticed, so I ended up not getting, or even knowing about, this assignment due tomorrow. Then today I saw Tamon doing it (he has her too, but different period) and I said "My class didn't get that," and he was quite surprised

You're taking ballroom? Brilliant!

Your story about being knocked unconscious in English class reminded me of my own tenure in high school. I probably shouldn't tell you this (although it probably won't surprise you), but I used to have a bad habit of reading through math class. I always claimed to be listening with one ear, but the truth was, I'd descend into my book and go completely deaf. I'd surface from my reading at the end of the period to find the blackboard absolutely covered in completely inexplicable information and *that* is how I got a 450 on the math portion of the SATs :)

haha I identify! I read all through physics last year... I'd pay attention long enough to just to get the formulas and then delve into some great book. (that usually wasn't so great) and then I wonder why I'm not doing terrifically in AP physics this year...

you don't really realize how cliche it is when you're in sixth grade and identify with her alienation. but that's okay. i'm not sure how much i'll appreciate it now.

I *highly* doubt you'll forget. It's not something you can forget in two weeks. Two years, yes, two weeks, I doubt it. Plus, it's not like you have much to get it confused with... We aren't learning like 12 different dances at the same time haha.
