I have officially adopted HamHam. For those unaware, Tia felt it too hazardous to his little health to weather a 3-day car ride across the country, so I have become his foster mommy in her absence. He shall be cared for well! (We no longer have any cats to eat my small pets...) Here's wishing them a safe trip and a smooth transition into Chicago

you found a car in the river? wha? how?

We went to Mossdale Crossing to jet ski and cool off, and there was totally a car submerged like ten feet beyond the end of the dock. The water was low, so you could feel it with your feet. We were afraid to investigate thoroughly, but you could stand on the roof, it was mossy but not rusty, and the back windows were broken. We thought about reporting it, but there was a guy there who said it's been there for weeks and he's reported it to various institutions in several surrounding cities, even with (unconfirmed, for the sake of getting them off their asses) postulations about there being a dead body in there, and they haven't done anything about it.

The water gets much lower and people are gonna start hitting their props on it, though. Plus, yanno, broken glass in a swimming area.
