Interesting review! It does sound like Disney is putting some serious muscle and creativity into making a decent MMO, whereas the other game is trying to be all things to all and doing a crappy job of everything as a result, including the graphics bloat. PotC is an interesting reveerse-flowed franchise: a beloved amusement park ride that became a successful film and now a game. I just luv aberrations!

If I weren't so busy trying to keep making artzes, I might be tempted to dl the disney game and check it out based on your rec.

it is a lot of fun and you don't have to play it for hours at a time - its simple and you can get a lot done in just an hour or so. I enjoy it quite a bit. Its not like some games where you have to spend a lot of time just *getting* to places.

You can teleport to your friends if you get separated, you can let the high level one run the gauntlet and then port to them or the higher level people can often port straight to an island rather htan have to sail there which can be pretty dangerous in some areas (lvl 35 warships, anyone?)

It is a very fun very casual game. not for hardcore people.
