I needed my fix of TWAH =) I love how you portrayed them, I think this is exactly the attitude they had toward each others after the bar scene: her hurt and pissed after Chuck's words and him wanting her but not being able to stop being the ass he can be. Also I think this is the kind of drunk-dialing conversation they'd had! B wouldn't have phone sex with Chuck as mas as she was back then! Fantastic work! :)
I do apologize for it taking so damn long. Part of it was because I really had to think about how their interaction would work and I am obsessed with getting it right and having it be believable. Basically I used the "glances" we got in 14 and 15 and Chuck's reference to her drunk dialing in episode 17.
She is definitely pissed, but I tried to spin it like she does want him slightly. And he totally wants her but is mad at her at the same time and won't give in because she sure isn't going to. I wanted it to make the end of the season interactions make sense and be believable.
And yes! Drunk Blair is my ultimate fear because I hate the way most people write her and I was so so careful in writing it. I'm glad it worked!
It was worth the wait :) You definitely make them believable and that's what I love the most about your fics! Basically I used the "glances" we got in 14 and 15 and Chuck's reference to her drunk dialing in episode 17. I NOTICED! :) The thing is that they don't know how to deal with the fact that they care about each other more than thay want to admit, and that's why they act like tehy act: because they are hurt :(
This is how drunk Blair sounds, ty! I'll be waiting for the next part bb!
Her "woo" is the cutest thing alive. it makes me smile, damn her. And ahhh my NS did show! I wanted to make it so like Blair isn't totally over him because she's talking about him so much. And I do think the only person she could be ok with would be Serena. So it was kind of tongue in cheek, but also laced with truth. And Dan hate. but really love. She just doesn't know it. :)
YAY I elicited an LOL! She freaking HATES V. And once again, subtly refers to her not being over Nate without ruining my whole story.
And now you really need to see Gone with the Wind to love the bathroom scene even more. Wait....I'm gonna YT it right now and spam you.
And ahhh I HATE drunk Blair in other fics. I obsess over writing drunk Blair. It works though? I iz gladz.
I'll finish yours. part two tomorrow FO SHO.
I might be a narcissist and reread Shatter after watching the bar scene again. Instead of doing my work, clearly.
ok, your ending just made me realize that I've been shipping me/my ex-whatever! no lie! and i swear i just realized our letters are b/c too. eeeew but oooooh and awwww at the same time.
it was this that did it: “-Be my friend, Chuck. Like before. Like before all of this,” her voice trailed off.
There was a pause on the other end of the line but Blair hardly noticed.
“We’re not friends, Blair. We’ll never be friends.” His voice was solemn; different from his previous tone.
I don't remember whether I commented on your fic before, but anyways, I just wanted to say that I love this series and I have been eagerly awaiting your update. I really hope you keep writing more chapters and preferably at a faster pace. But don't worry, I understand that school is stressful (hell, all my stress comes from school) and no matter when the next chapter comes, I am sure it will be great!
thank you for reviewing just the same! Reviews have been seriously lacking lately, and every one really makes me want to write more for you all. It's trite, but true. I definitely will keep writing this through season 2, which means the updates will definitely drag through to the end of May, since I have to wait until the season ends to write the last few parts I would bet. But for now I am trying to finish up 11th grade and start the first two or so parts that am planning for 12th grade. School is hell this semester, but hopefully I can update more often. I really don't like to delay this long, so I will do my best! I promise!

*SQUEAL* Your SN just showed. I LOVE YOU!
I love the girls drinking together and dun dun dun Big Bro Chuck calling and checking up on the sis. *SQUEAL*
FLASHBACK! Eck. These kids wound me. Especially when he told her to open her eyes because he wasn't gonna kiss her. *knife through heart*
DRUNK DIALING! *SQUEAL* I love that she called him. You know, just to see if drinking wine alone was pathatic since Chuck knows the scale. LOL
AH! Another killer.
“Were we ever friends?”
“I don’t know.”
YES, dammit! *Cries*
And, dude, I so need a Blair/Vanessa icon. Semi similiar to my CN. *looks around*

Sorry to stab you. I thought it was poetic and oh so fitting. They definitely wouldn't have kissed. But I had to almost go there. ;)
haha glad you like the drunk dialing. so hard to do.

Dear Blair, the answer is no. :'( Sorry bb.

I totally took the never be friends bit from Buffy, but that kind of thing has always resonated with me. Hang in there!
And everything is better when it's CB! <3
