oh this just broke my heart. It was so beautiful and so very in character. I had given up on reading anything so good to fill the gap in between 1.18 scenes but i'm so glad you proved me wrong!
Awwwww. Air, this is so sad but so good. Did your disclaimer say you wouldn't update 12th grade until the end of this season? :( I loved the reference to where he found out Yale was the magic word.
thank you, dear! And don't worry I'll update before then, it will just have to be the last update probably that will have to wait until the end of the season. I can still do two or three that I have in mind for earlier :)
hahaha the dress is gorgeous! I had a shopping image in my head ever since Blair said he bought it for her. Love it! I like bringing in details because the whole thing is supposed to be 100% believable with the show. I didn't want to go AU with it at all, so I try to make it fit. :)
And then of course I have to put some sad, philosophical emo thoughts in amidst all the fluff! Duh!
Haha and yeah. I wrote it that they did go all the way that night, but it was ok because it was slow and tender and way intense with eye staring. and then after that he's like 'no way we have to do this right and not be crazed sex rabbits' lol! Because he SO would.
I lovelovelovelove this story (particularly the miniChuck and miniBlair chapters, but older-them is pretty amazing too). You know, I've never really read any fanfic about that Week of Perfection, and you did a great job. Very in-character too.
I love the ending - poor Blair. She may think she'll be jetting off to Tuscany in the near future, but we know better.
thanks so much. I'm glad you like both mini!CB and the chapters where I brought in the show. I'm glad you liked my week of perfection portrayal haha. I was afraid of getting it in character, I tried to think long and hard about how they would act. So I'm glad you thought it worked!
And yeah, the ending had to be sad for us and happy for her :( and she was right in that she does jet off to Tuscany, it's just without Chuck!
Aw, this takes me back to happier times...all one week of them. :( I love that you are doing the "lost weeks." Your writing is gorgeous as always and as heartbreaking as ever (especially since we know now what they don't...)! Can't wait for an update! <3
haha the "lost weeks" seemed like they needed attention. Plus I want to make everything believable with the show while not making it seem like I'm adding scenes or anything. I'm going to try and do the same with 12th grade.

DRESS! *SQUEAL* DRESS! It's such a pretty dress, too. And the magic word. AH! I love how you incorporate what we learn from the show into this.
Ah, the beginning and ending thoughts. *sighs*
Chuck not wanting to go all the way is adorable. I just wanna pinch his cheeks. hehe
