oook... normally i avoid being 'heartfelt' /discussing other peoples posts coz funnily enough, it causes conflict, but rey, you asked for it baby!

i love the way someone goes on a complete long passionate rant and everyone else is just like 'man i don't get it at all'. not anything against rey, and i'm not saying i get it either, i just love the conjunction. and knowing the feeling of explaining something heartfelt and everyone just staring blankly at you. it's probably very shallow of me to just be amused by my friends rather than be making some deep comment about the corruption/or not of our society, but what the hell. thanks guys, you're funny :).

i also do believe and accept that i have had a very lucky and priviledged life and still do and hope to continue *touches wood*. i'm incredibly glad of it. but it does make you feel really shallow about bitching about going to the dentist. :P oh well.

Life isnt shit ellen, the government is. The howard government is ruining the australian way of life, our values and our beliefs. this society is now based around white anglo saxons with the dosh...what abt the blue collar workers (look at teh new workplace reforms for god sake), what about our involvement in Iraq and now possibly in Iran. How many more innocents are we going to kill? YES WE ARE KILLING THEM because we wont do anything to stop the government from committing such acts. What about the forests they are trying to destroy? What about the rascism and hatred that is being incited? as for countries that have strict censorship policies....i am from pakistan, i have lived through that...what im trying to say is we are very lucky to HAVE the freedom of speech..so WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET UP AND USE IT ( ... )

“turn this piece of shit life we have…” you said it, not me rey. anyway theres a whole barrage of stuff i could discuss about your other post, but... i got confused. you kinda ended up proving my point with the "You sit there sipping on your 3.30 coffee in ur commonwealth supported student cafes while people your age in brazil are picking said coffee beans for a living becasue they dont have good educational facilities let alone government supported places" thing, because thats exactly what im saying- we should feel lucky/thankful/what have you because its NOT us. and...i think you know that none of us would be proud of that (i also dont think proud is the right word because..it just doesnt make sense), and that were not pro-war. well, at least id like to think so.
aaaaaanyway, point is...the end. this has been a fine way of provoking people into commenting (aha)
