Good point on potter. Maybe I'll make those the next books i reread. Of course, I remember a few sleepless nights as I finished up books in 24 hours, so maybe I should wait until i have some free time.
oh... and icon and photo love right back at you. :)~
Hehehe... thanks... the default (before I changed it to last year's halloween costume) was taken when I went to Cuba in January. I ended up doing it very last minute and went alone... great experience either way.
As for potter... it really is great. The movies do not do it enough justice. The first two books you feel you are reading a kid's book... then in the third, it just gets so much darker and continues that way that you are shocked by the seventh that kids aren't clutching their sides and rocking themselves to sleep. LOL I just love being able to read something multiple times and find something new each time. :) It takes a very smart author to pull that off.
I looked at the books and the movies as being completely different and just enjoy them for different reasons.
There was another author I liked (wheel of time series) who was rude enough to DIE before finishing his final book. I'm rather irked about that.
My point is that I'm glad the potter books were finished. They ended exactly the way I thougth they'd end before everyone made a big deal about the ending and the dying. Then I began to wonder... but it worked out and I was happy :)
I read a little about the fact you took a cuba trip. Very cool! My goal is to have all my passport paper work in by the end of this month and then do some traveling next summer.
Not sure where yet. I was pondering one of those group adventure things because I love meeting new people too.
As for the kids not clutching, well... they're mostly all grown up now :)
