So, I was informed today that the CNSC (Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission) will be dropping by the lab in the next three weeks for an inspection.
I'd just like to mention it was the CNSC who shut down the Chalk River reactor. -

So I didn't win the trip my company Christmas party was giving away (although a girl from my department did), but I did win a $25.00 gift certificate to Chapters. Go figure... I just walked down to Hazelton today to pick up my chapters.ca order that I wasn't home for yesterday.
Time to get out of this monkey suit and head down to the Wreckroom. -

Well, at least I got my first experience of turning a load of laundry pink out of the way.
Sheesh... never did that once when I was living in Peterborough for five years.
I think what bugs me most is that I had my red sheets, pajamas and other red clothing in another washer. But no... throw the new red dishtowel in with the towels!!! Duh. -
Santa came early this year... riding a Leon's truck...
Along in Santa's bag is a 7.4 cubic foot upright freezer, now nestled into my apartment.
Now I can really start cooking with my crockpot, now that I have a place to put leftovers.
And venison. I actually have venison in my freezer. Tried it for the first time ever last night... not bad... better than moose. :)
