I am so sorry, Alia. I know the love and loss of a pet is just as hard as if she were a child. My cat, Burbank died of a similar fast-growing brain tumor and within days was a shell of his former self. It just seemed the humane thing to do to put him down, but I was wrecked with guilt for months, even years after. But he is no longer in pain and I have more happy and frisky memories now than I did then after clarity settles in. I know people deal with grief in different ways, but he was greatly, GREATLY loved by your family and he knew that. :)
How is Triangle dealing with it, if you don't mind me asking?
Triangle, Pika, and Kapi seem totally oblivious to the absence of Peach. They may just think her missing is temporary though as whenever we would travel I would put Peach in boarding at the vet office and the three of them would just hold fort at home with the automatic feeders.

Yeah I'm really glad I took her in when I did and that she didn't have to suffer for very long.
