Noah turns four!

A person's fourth birthday is apparently a very big deal, and as such, Michael, Keelia and Midir decide that taking Noah to Dave and Busters is a very good idea. They'd given thought to taking him to Chuckee Cheese's, but in the end it's decided that all the animatronics might give the little boy ideas, and having life-sized rats suddenly following

Midir stares around Dave and Buster's with eyes almost as big as Noah's. The flashing lights, the sounds, the people, the games. He's bouncing a bit, too.

Keelia smiles at the two of them, settling next of them. She's fretting a bit about leaving Kaylan in the nursery, but if there are people looking for her, she didn't want to bring her out, even with the level of protection she'd have here.

"I think this was a good idea." She grins at Michael.

Demonstrating a complete disregard for temporal causality, a large hamper of toys suddenly appears, with balloons tied to each of its four corners and 'happy birthday Noah' in shiny, glitter covered letters hanging on the front. Included is one of the Mike™ action figures (with genuine Light-Up-Eye action! for 3yrs and up!).

Wes and Methos arrived with tons of presents and Fred in tow.

"Happy Birthday, Noah!" Wes said, grinning at the little boy.

Methos checked a mirror nervously to see what color his hair was, then grinned to see it still brown.

"How's my favorite...grandson?" He still wasn't sure how they'd ended up "Grumpas" in all of this.

Fred waved at Keelia as they came through the door, but cast Wesley a sharp look at the word 'grandson'.

Nobody had ever mentioned that part.

Wes shrugged at her. "I have no idea. Michael's idea of a joke that Noah sort of latched on to."

Methos just grinned.

"I don't think you have that gift," Sam pointed out to Ariel, who was trying to turn Methos's hair pink, too.

"Hey, you." Touched Wes's shoulder, even if he wanted to greet him in a slightly different way.

Sam was escorting Ariel today, since Julien and Jackie were taking a well-deserved vacation. The little girl bounced at his side, keeping close as she was told, eyes wide at all the shiny beepy bouncy boingy things.

Mir was sticking close to Sam. She wasn't sure if she should have come. Wasn't too sure if she should be here.

But it was Michael. And they had to start making peace sometime.

And if worst came to absolute worst, Sam could teleport her out of there.

Keelia tensed a bit, but all things considered it was Noah's birthday. And glancing at Wesley,she could understand why Miranda hadn't brought her own date.

She moved over to them, kissing Sam's cheek, and offering Miranda something that might be called a smile.

"Hey, you two."

Sam hugged her lightly, smiled, kissed her forehead.

Ariel bounced over to Noah to say hi, almost immediately, leaving them to talk.

Miranda smiled back, even if it was shy and hesitant. "Hey..."
