Thrice's new The Alchemy Index Vol. II (Water) is amazing. I love it. Especially track #2 Open Water. I need the rest of the releases but I'm not sure if III and IV are out yet.

I was thinking as I watched the end of the super bowl, about why we value success so much. Well, here I go. I leave in just about an hour for the airport. My flight leaves at 11:40 to Chicago and then I get to sit at O'hare for 3 hours. Airports always freak me out a little bit. I wish I could get paid for my thoughts. I'm constantly thinking about a multitude of things. This could easily explain the lack of work I do while I'm at work, it's just boring and I'd rather think and write and do something I'm interested in than sit here and research marketing tactics and the latest greatest trend. argh
