This was my morning.
(Camera phone + not much natural light = bad quality, sorry!)
Lindy, my Cav. King Charles, has a ritual when it comes to knitting time. She follows me onto the bed and sits down right on my lap. I have to nudge her down so that I can make room for my yarn and knitting. Then she smells everything. When I say smells, I mean smashes-her-little-nose-into-it-and-roots-around "smells". And when I say everything I mean needles, yarn, the knitting hanging from the needles, and my hands. She'll stare at me while I knit a couple of rows and then decides to lay down by my feet and stare from there. Then, slowly but surely, the clicking of the needles makes her sleepy and she nuzzles her head down into the blanket and drifts off. Finally I have peace (except for her snoring, which happens more often than not) and that's when the real work gets done! And today, by noon, it was finished!!
(Folded so it would fit in the picture. It's around 60 inches, a little longer.)
Hooray! 3 down, and hopefully at least 5 more to go. They're all going to a local "Free Store" that's run by my dad's church, where homeless or low income families can pick them out and take them home!
