Remus obligingly passed the bowl with a smile, and looked back at his own plate with some disgust. As he'd started the meal, he had an intense desire for meat, and had filled up his plate accordingly. A quarter way through and several stares from assorted students later, he felt slightly - well, very uncomfortable about the prospect of finishing off his plate.

A pity he wasn't a man to waste his food.

Sighing a little, he turned back to the younger man. "Could you pass the pepper, Andy?" Remus asked. The name came easily back to him, and he was slightly surprised by this.

Nodding, he said, "Of course."

Passing the pepper, he saw the resignation in his old Professor's face, and asked, "Are you gonna finish all that? It'd be a shame to waste it."

"My sentiments exactly," he muttered, looking down at his plate. Just looking at his meat made him feel queasy now. Greyback liked his meat raw.

He recoiled slightly at the thought that had made itself into his mind, then shook his head. "Thank you," Remus added, remembering about the pepper.

"If you ah.. Don't want to finish it," Andy began, "I'll take some of it off your hands."

To be honest, Andy really liked Professor Lupin, Werewolf or not. He was a fantastic teacher.
