I really want a badge maker. Like badly.

Looking at the one you are bidding on I think it's just lacking the badge refill bits which you can eBay in lots of 1000 and stuff. WTF you would want 5000 badges for, (except to poke fun at Dubyah), I dunno.

You'll need to be refreshing exactly when the auction is about to finish and be ready in another window/tab to re-bid some big number to make sure you get it.

Bugger, some one got it. For almost retail price though. Hee hee.

Check out this site for new stuff and refills.

Personally, I'd be investing a little more in one of those lever action ones from the US... but I get confused with the 25mm, 37mm, 1", 1 1/4" conversions etc. Too many options. Course you can get the one with all the sizes, but it'd cost.

I'm surprised badge-makers are so hard to find. I think they had one at our primary school. Why did they think it would be a cool idea to make us design our own badges and wear them? I don't even remember what the occasion was...

You should try to get your hands on that one, and save future generations from the same fate that we suffered. (Yes, you would have gone through this too, even if you don't remember it!). :P

So what you are saying is I need to save the children by acquiring every badge maker in the world so that they never ever have to make a badge again. Regardless of whether they would actually like badges.

See when I had my badgemaking craze I looked up some mob in SA or VIC who actually made the badge-pressers and all related equipment. For a box of badge refills and a presser it was going to cost around $700 or some such ( ... )
