I just realized something - hurricane season started yesterday and we finally got a storm. Nature is like clockwork sometimes. I just hope that this season will be like the rest. Oh, it's no problem. I was way too busy being stupid and hyper to talk anyway. My room is quite clean at the moment. Just...don't look under the bed or in the closets :P Hm. I probably shouldn't have the computer on right now. A thunder just shook the house! :D

i know, it would selectivly mist starting last friday and i was like "what is this wet stuff falling from the sky? is this that 'rain' i so vaguely remember? i'm not sure since its been like 2 months since i've seen it"

and then lo, sunday it rains. and yesterday it started pouring... and today at work in foley it was torrential. man. i've missed the rain.

Rain is wonderful. I watched it for about an hour this evening. I missed it as well. I wonder if we'll get hit this year...*arches eyebrows*

its been awhile since we got a direct hit, its about that time.

if they keep hitting mobile bay and stopping for 3 days though, i may scream.

i just dont feel like evacuation. not that we ever do.
but we've moved and dont have a grill or gas stove. so i dunno how we'd eat for 4 days until they get around to getting the power back on.

I love hurricane season. Floyd sucked.. because we had to evacuate, but otherwise it's nice and rainy and dark.. and when all goes well there are no brush fires. And I make up my own names for the hurricanes. because I'm a loser and sit on my ass for most of the summer.

Floyd did suck. I was 4th grade I believe. Since we missed a certain amount of school, we had to go an extra thirty minutes per day. Lame. I love the weather, though. I can't remember the exact year that there was a major drought. I do, however, recall that it smelled like shit.
