I am so excited...I have a ticket to see Billy Corgan! I think I am one of the few people who are really into his new album. Not hard to believe though I would probably listen to it no matter what it was like. I would do the same for Radiohead (and probably have haha). Well when you look at the range of different styles and influences the Pumpkins used it isn't a surprise. I guess it is in the same basket as songs like Eye, TEITBITE, Ava Adore and the stuff Billy did for the Ransom and Stigmata sountracks.

I just like the album because it has this really 80's Depeche Mode, Cure feel to it. I think I like it better than the Zwan album. I downloaded one of the Billy Corgan concerts (from an FM source) to get a taste of what it will be like. I wasn't dissapointed. There is an mp3 from a show here that is of a pretty good quality.

The last time The Pumpkins played in Australia was 1998. Zwan never played here so I have never seen Billy live. I have so many bootlegs but that just doesn't come close to actually being there.

Billy could do a half-arsed set and I would probably still love it.

Do you think he just wants to get this tour over with and get the Pumpkins back together? From reading a few articles that is what it seems like.
