One of my girlfriends asked the other day (ok at least a month ago now. It took forever for me to get back to this) how and why did I get to where I am. It made me realize I have a lot of friends that don't know my whole story and how the American came to live in Denmark. So with Misha's permission I am copying her e-mail to me so I can answer it

oh, angel -- how i feel every word of this blog entry. we're here indefinitely, too, and while we love much of danish culture and attitudes, we sure miss our friends and family in the states. why can't i just transport everyone i love to a lovely utopia where we can all live happily and i can buy the world a coke??? ;-) you're lucky to have such great in-laws; i'm sure that helps a ton.
