Today I finally had the chance to read the perks of being a wallflower. I am almost speechless on what to say about the book, other than that it was one of the best books I have ever read. At some points I felt like I was Charlie, and everything just hit me. the perks of being a wallflower reminds me of a book i can't tell you. Both of those books ( Read more... )

watch out. in some parts of the world you'll be accused of just trying to be "trendy" or "hipster" for reading that book.

which is just wrong. i'm with you. i love that book. the tone is amazing and the characters...they actually mean something, unlike the characters in a lot of books these days.

i agree. i've got many friends who think it's very non-conformist to hate the book. i adored it.

hey, i don't know you... but i just stumbled across your journal, and found this entry. i just wanted to say, that 'the perks of being a wallflower' is an amazing book & i also just recently finished it. i thought it was really deep. and i loved charlie's character. well, you may or may not care about my opinion on that... seeing as how i don't know you. but i thought your opinions on how you felt like you were charlie were interesting.

i read that book in one night and it was probably the best night of my summer last year. that book is wonderful like infinity.
