One CD that you can’t live without [no more, no less]: it's a new found cd that i am obsessed with - Cat Power's Willie Deadwilder. it's an 18 minute song that's just about the most beautiful thing i have ever heard.

The last movie you watched: me, you, and everyone we know. it's an adorable movie directed by the up and coming, Miranda July. (she also acts as one of the main characters in the movie)

Favorite books: crime and punishment, the grapes of wrath, seven types of ambiguity, dry, ego and instinct, middlesex, the world according to garp
Favorite author: fyodor dostoevsky, upton sinclair, augusten burroughs, john irving

Do you write yourself? If so, what kind of writing? not really...sometimes poems..and lyrics for my stupid rock band.
BECAUSE WE EFFING CAN:
Hobbies: music, books, fashion design, science/mathematics. MYSPACE too.
Define “indie” [it could be a dictionary-type definition, or just what it means to you]: i duno.. it's a huge genre of music, usually from an independent record label. it's like the music version of a zine vs magazine.
How'd you get into indie music and movies? i've always been into the arts, and my sister is a writer and knows many independent directors/musical artists. i just liked what i saw and heard.
How’d you find us? i think i was looking to sell some kind of tickets for some band.
It would be super nice if you could promote us in your userinfo or a community... super, super nice: i'm not really in any communities, and this journal is only read by a few of my close friends, so i doubt i'd be of any help.
If you had duct tape, a tree, allergy medicine and a penny, how would you save the world from a giant-monster-like-thing trying to eat it? [you must use all the items] i would use quantum physics

Do you ever get told that you look like someone famous? sometimes people say i look like jenny lewis, and some say audrey tautou. i dont really think i look much like either.
One thing about anything that you wish you could change: there's far too much.
What are your opinions on politics? too many people form ignorant, hunch-based opinions. an individual should make the conscience, not forced, choice of whether or not he/she will be participating in politics. if they would like to, then they should really learn what the hell they are doing before they start voting. if the individual does not have the time or the interest to take some kind of gov. class then they really shouldn't vote.

it's a store a few blocks away from my house.. it's only open on wednesday evenings.. i think it's a drug front. but a pretty, darn awsome one.
