+ a poem.

So, our car is dying. The LeBaron. We're going to have to look for another soon.
But I applied at Walgreens (Biglots isn't hiring at the moment, and neglected to inform me).
And I get to go to Universal near Christmastime, basically for free.

Maybe We'll (Actually) Vote Next Time

Just four more years that's what we're praying
or at least that's the American goal.
Christianity never stopped us from digging for coal.
I can't wait until I'm old
and living in a cardboard box in the side of a road
not even collecting social security.
There won't even be anything left for me
thanks a lot to the hypocrisy and lies
we're already in debt up to our eyes.
We're sending more troops to fight and die in a war
no wonder other countries hate us for a sport.

Mr. President's just sitting, drilling for turmoil
making deals with big companies, "Dig up more oil!"
For what? For money to give to the greedy,
and take away everything posessed by the needy?
Apparently everything but greed is a sin.
Turn back a page..why didn't Kerry win?

And to all the people that came out proud
"Will you hold my hand?"
"Sorry, I'd love to, but I'm not allowed."
just because that's not part of the Christian act.
Obviously, the Government has finally cracked
when trivial things such as gay marriage
count as an excuse for nation-wide disparage
when countless people are being killed for no reason
as if, in the Middle East, it's people season
and money is aimlessly being squandered away
we're falling deeper and deeper every day.
Not many people voted, what was the exact amount?
The race ended so close; I demand a recount!
