The Apologizing Lady

I have very little patience for Apologizing Ladies. There is one I am currently working with, and it's so hard for me to stay civil to her. She is nothing but perfectly warm and kind and genuine, but ugh, I just cannot handle all the apologizing

i have an apologizing girlfriend who drives me nucking futs. when i say ANYTHING negative "i'm scared" or "my sister drives me crazy" her response is "i'm sorry." i finally blew up at her and said DONT APOLOGIZE!! YOU DIDN'T *DO* ANYTHING WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously. I have a girlfriend like this too. She apologized once for noticing that it was cheaper to buy single packs of paper towels rather than the bulk package.

She attributes it to a volatile home life during her childhood, which I can understand, but like...we're 30 now. It's time to get past that stuff. Own your shit. And we're young compared to most Apologizing Ladies I know.
