Right...

So I'm thinking about changing my major to Chemistry and possibly getting a PhD instead of an MD and being a Chemistry professor. If I switch I can still go to med school if I want OR get a PhD in chem, but if I stay as a Biology major I can't get into a Chemistry PhD program....thoughts?

chem fits you
would you want to deal with continual profesorial research and publishing demands/deadlines "publish or perish" style?
Or does the teaching side appeal to you more?

Well, it seems to me that you're a bigger fan of Chem, since you don't say anything about thinking about becoming a Bio prof. But I was going to ask them same question as Angie & probably for the same reason. Cause being a professor and teaching are two vastly different things.

But as I started out saying... it seems you like Chem more. & doing Chem leaves you the option. So, it seems that Chem is the way to go.

You're clearly more into Chem. What exactly you desire to do with Chem, is something you probably just need to figure out. I'd say you'd be best leaving Bio behind and changing your focus soully to Chem.
