Day 4 or 5 of portcall and we are nowhere near ready. This cruise was thrown together at the last minute, so every time we turn around some chem or widget gets lost by FedEx or someone (including the brand new-ROV... think little geek), and some container shows up with no lables. The Countertop is 1 1/2" siver leaf maple with some of the edges left "live" or uncut. I've never done any "art" carpentry before so here's hoping it turns out. The demolition of the kitchen took a week, finishing the floors (kitchen, dining room, living room) took a week, dealing with comtractors took about a week, installing cabinets took a day ( Read more... )

ok so my internet is limited to when Leslie brings home her work machine. My machine went belly up processer, motherboard both toast, and the hard drive not far behind. It's not under warenty, the salesman actually said not to get it as the machines never need service... and right after I paid for it they stepped up there default wattenty to 3 ( Read more... )

I think that the city planning dept people are next door measuring my neibors greenhouse. Needless to say that this makes me a bit nervous as the kitchen alterations are unpermited.
